Use AND between two or more terms to find materials with allthe concepts. Searching for human AND genetics will only include books that have both global warming and atmosphere in their contents.
|genetic engineering OR genetic modification||
Use OR between similar concepts. Searching for genetic engineering OR genetic modification will find books that refer to either term.
Use quotation marks ( " " ) around specific phrases such as "genetic engineering" to find the words in that specific order.
Use an asterisk ( * ) to find multiple versions of one word. Using gene* as a search term will include results that refer to gene, genes, genetic, genetics, and genetically.
...Write down the book's Call Number. The call number is basically the book's address, and is what you will use to find the book on the shelf.
(eBooks do not have call numbers. You will view them online.)
