Bones & Joints

This unit covers the anatomy of bones, how bones form and grow, how bones heal, different types of fractures, and the role of calcium in bone formation; including the hormonal regulation of blood calcium levels.This unit also covers the 3 main types of joints, organized structurally and functionally. You will be able to label the parts of a joint, and be able to identify specific movements at different synovial joints.
