Group Study Room

Woodbridge Campus Library has 6 group study rooms available to all library patrons for up to 3 hours. If demand is low, your study room time may be extended. However, new groups will have priority and you may be asked to vacate the study room.

Checking in:

§  Reservations preferred, walk-ins accepted.

§  NOVACard required for check-in at front desk.  If online reservation was made, the person who made the reservation must check in.

§  Reservations may be canceled if you are more than 15 minutes late, and the room made available to other groups.

§  Groups of 2 or more have priority.

§ Academic priority.

§ Room capacity signs are posted in all study rooms. Moving additional chairs or people into rooms violates fire codes.

Checking out:

§ After leaving room, see front desk (very important).

§  Rooms must be left clean and undamaged.  Please leave the room exactly as you found it, with chairs pushed in, monitors off and all items return to their places.

§  Please report any malfunctioning equipment to the library staff.

Rules for Use:

§  Please keep noise level reasonable and door closed.  Rooms are not soundproof.

§  For safety reasons, please do not lock study rooms.

§  Please keep track of your belongings at all times.  Report and suspicious behavior/emergencies to library staff or NOVA Police at: 703.764.5000   PoliceDispatch@nvcc.edu.
