The following library databases may be useful when you're looking for alternatives to traditional textbooks.

NOVA Libraries will purchase a renewable, one-year license to films required in courses, while funds last. For more information, see the streaming video guide.

- VIVA Curriculum Driven Acquisitions eBooksThe Curriculum Driven Acquisitions (CDA) program is a VIVA Open and Affordable Course Content Initiative. The primary goal of the program is to reduce the cost of course materials for Virginia students by matching titles on bookstore lists to ebooks available for purchase or already held in VIVA shared e-book collections. The licenses for the listed eBooks allow for unlimited simultaneous users, so all NOVA affiliated users should be able to access them.
