Misinformation is false or inaccurate information — getting the facts wrong.

Disinformation is false information which is deliberately intended to mislead—intentionally misstating the facts.

Malinformation is true, but the sharing of it is meant to cause harm. Harm is derived from either the true statement being shared out of context or at a particularly vulnerable point for the malinformation target.

Propaganda is information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
