In addition to our extensive collection of Anatomy and Physiology books, flashcards, eBooks, streaming videos and DVDs, the library also offers our students interactive anatomical learning resources.
Anatomical resources include:
- 24/7 access to Visible Body Web Suite. Students can access the application via web browser or download them to their Android or iOS devices for use even when off-line.
- Visible Body Suite is an all-body systems and biology reference app. View gross and microanatomy 3D models and associated encyclopedic information. Students can study both gross anatomy of dental structure and microanatomy of individual teeth and the tongue. They can observe the muscle actions of the head, neck and jaw, create online flashcards, and take anatomy quizzes in the app .
- Anatomy & Physiology is a separate learning app, “an interactive A&P text delivering a general introduction to concepts from the classic anatomy and physiology undergraduate course”. It uses text, physiology animations, interactive 3D models, and online quizzes.
- If students do not have their own mobile devices, they can check out iPad minis with VB A&P loaded, and access/download the Web Suite through their personal accounts.
