The library catalog contains records of (most of) the resources that NOVA Libraries owns or subscribes to. This includes physical and online items. The record for each physical items contain the call number of the item so that you can find it on the shelves in the library. The record for each online items contain a link to the item.
The search field for the library catalog is located on the NOVA Libraries home page This link opens in a new window. The default setting is to search for books and ebooks by keyword. You can search for other types of items (articles, videos, audio) by using the radio buttons above the search field. Once you've conducted a search, you'll see the search results. On the left side of the search results page are options that you can use to narrow down your search results.
If you're looking for online items, I recommend going to the databases directly. One reason is that some databases are not searchable from the library catalog search field (even if you use the All option). Another reason is that many databases have unique features that are not available when searching from the library catalog.
