Looking for tips on how to get the most out of NOVA Libraries' resources and services?  This guide is for you!  Here you will find video tutorials to help you build your research skills and locate the information you need as easily as possible.  The tutorials have been organized into three categories:

  • Citing Sources - Learn how to cite different types of resources in APA, MLA and Chicago Style
  • Library Catalog  - Here you will find information on how to use the library's catalog to find everything from books to streaming videos in the most efficient way possible.
  • Research Skills - These tutorials will help you develop the skills you need to make your research process a breeze, including how to develop a paper topic, create a search strategy, and evaluate information.
  • Database Tutorials - Here you will find tutorials to help you get the most out of specific databases available through NOVA Libraries.
  • Using the Library - here you will find tutorials that will help you navigate the library, get help when you need it and find books in the stacks.
  • Faculty Tools - This page provides instructions on how to incorporate video tutorials into your instruction!
