Welcome

Hello and welcome!  This guide has been created for dual enrolled students to learn about the NOVA Libraries and its resources and services. More information and resources are available on the NOVA Libraries homepage.

Dual Enrollment Information

Off-campus access to online library resources is available to current NOVA students, faculty and staff.

After you have completed your assignment, be sure to take advantage of NOVA's Tutoring Services, a free service available to you as a NOVA student.

  • Option 1: Request A Tutoring Appointment in-person or via Zoom. NOVA tutors provide essay and citation review services.
  • Option 2: Free 24x7 Online Tutoring via Brainfuse through CANVAS; drop off an essay for review and feedback.

Students may park in “B” lots for FREE without a permit, after 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends. Prior to that time, students without a parking permit may utilize NOVA’s hourly mobile pay option through Passport Mobile Pay to park in any ‘B’ Lot.

For more information, visit NOVA Parking Services.

NOVACard is the official identification card of Northern Virginia Community College. All NOVA students are encouraged to get a free NOVACard in order to access many benefits and services. It is also your library card, which you will use to borrow materials, and the card you will use to pay for printing or photocopying.

To get your NOVACard, create a free account. Then upload a favorite photo and stop by any NOVACard office to pick up your new NOVACard.

You can also add funds to your card's account in order to print/photocopy while on campus.
