You can limit Google results to .gov or .edu sites using site:.gov or site:.edu
Government and educational websites are more reliable than most .com or .org sites. Government websites are great for statistics.
How to Evaluate Websites
So how can you be sure that the websites that you find contain good information?
Consider:
- Who is the author?
- What are his/her qualifications?
- Why was the website created?
- When was it last updated?
- How reliable is the information?
