Civic Engagement Essay

In this essay, you are tested on your ability to put concepts together with an issue of biological relevance that was discussed in class. In addition to citing your textbook, you must do additional library research that must be properly cited using MLA or APA format. You will be graded on how well you integrate your biological understanding with the topic (critical thinking) and on your ability to successfully research and cite information (scientific literacy).

Each student must complete one of the 14 possible topics over the course of the semester.
