Did you know the library has books and films in dozens of languages?
You can use an advanced search to find them. Read below to learn how to find different types of resources.
Books
Bilingual readers (a.k.a. dual-language readers) present short stories in English and another language side-by-side. Students typically like these, because they tend to use funny stories or real people's experiences to keep you engaged.
To find bilingual readers, click advanced search, then make a search like the one shown in the box below.
- Click [Subject] in the [Any Field] dropdown (red box 1).
- Type [Spanish language -- Readers] in the searchbox, replacing "Spanish" with the language you want (blue box 2).
- Chose [Books] from the [Material Type] dropdown (purple box 3).
- Click [Search].

Films
To find films in another language, click advanced search, then make a search like the one shown in the box below.
- Click [Subject] in the [Any Field] dropdown (red box 1).
- Type [Motion pictures -- Arabic] in the searchbox, replacing "Arabic" with the language you want (blue box 2).
- Chose [Audio Visual] from the [Material Type] dropdown (purple box 3).
- Click [Search].
