Learning Outcomes

After reading the sections on this page, you should be able to:

  1. Explain why the three pages on the NOVA Libraries website discussed below are helpful.

Databases A-Z

The Databases A-Z  webpage on the NOVA Libraries website provides contains a list, in alphabetical order, of all the databases to which NOVA Libraries subscribe. This is helpful if you know the name of a database and what to see if NOVA Libraries subscribe to it.

Databases by Subject

The Databases by Subject  webpage on the NOVA Libraries website provides a list, in alphabetical order, of subjects. Each subject is a link that will take you to a page with a list of databases that contain resources in that subject.

Find Journal by Title

The Find Journal by Title  webpage on the NOVA Libraries lets you search for a specific journal by its title to see if the NOVA Libraries subscribe to it. If we do, you'll see the date range that is available as well as a link to the database that contains the journal.
