Websites

Search Google for the designer's name. Look for personal, company, and/or business affiliation webpages as well as news/magazine publications. Within personal, company, or business affiliation webpages, look for 'About','Profile', or 'Company' for biographical information. If the designer's contact information is provided, you could also send an email requesting additional information. You may also find information on LinkedIn. Be cautious if using Wikipedia as the content cannot be verified.

If there are multiple people with the same name, add "interior designer" to your keyword search.

Google Web Search

Before using information found on a webpage, consider the following criteria to evaluate its credibility.

  • Who is the author?
  • What are his/her qualifications?
  • Why was the website created?
  • When was it last updated?
  • How reliable is the information?

Stores, shops, wikis, blogs, etc. are not acceptable sources of information.
