Search Tips

In AP Images or Image Quest: Browse photos on the main page, or use the search box.

In NYPL Digital Collections: Browse or search through the New York Public Library's collection of images.

Use the search box for your chosen topic (e.g., "Palestine," "for-profit prisons") in Listen Notes or in any well-reviewed podcast app, such as Apple Podcasts for iOS or Google Podcasts for Android, or a cross-platform app like Spotify.

In Opposing Viewpoints or any database, go to "Advanced Search" and select Document Type: "Podcasts."

If you want podcasts about a specific person, topic, or time period, enter a search term, like "antisemitism" or "Covid-19." Or just hit "search" to find a variety of podcasts.

On the main page of the library catalog, click the link for Video.

If you want videos about a specific person, topic, or time period, enter a search term, like "self defense or "distracted driving." Or just hit "search" to find a variety of videos.

In Advanced Search: under Image Quick View Types, select "Graph, Chart, or Diagram."
