A Note to Readers

Below you will find a mix of fiction and nonfiction, popular and scholarly books. Some are new within the last 5 years; others are widely considered to be classics or otherwise offer historical snapshots of previous time periods. Many are composed by Black authors and editors; some are written or compiled by authors or editors who are White, Hispanic, Asian, and other races or ethnicities. The works of these authors and editors, intended for a wide variety of audiences, serve the ultimate pursuit of antiracism through sharing stories, perspectives, and connections.
