Search the Library Catalog
Search Tips
Search using the most important words to describe your topic. Also try searching for synonyms and related terms.
Click a book's title to view and select:
- 'Request Item' and then 'Sign in' to have books sent to any NOVA campus library for you to check out with your NOVACard.
- 'Available Online' or 'Full Text Available' to read eBooks. Look at a book's table of contents or index to find sections with the most relevant information.
- 'Citation' to view in MLA format.
- 'Subjects' to search for more titles using related terms.
Suggested eBooks
eBook Search Tips
Search for eBooks on your topic in the library catalog.
- Filter your results by selecting 'Available Online' to display only eBooks.
- Search for synonyms and related terms, key people/organizations or key events/issues.
- Put the word AND between search terms; education AND leadership.
- Click the 'Full-text available at' link to open the eBook.
- Look for toolbars that provide print, email, and citation options.
