The Manassas Campus Library has several anatomical models that students may borrow for use in the library. The following models are available: arm muscles, leg muscles, eye, head, torso, heart, and ear.
The following policies apply to all anatomical models:
Students must present a valid NOVA Card in order to borrow anatomical models.
Anatomical models are for use in the library only.
Anatomical models may be used until the close of business on the day that they are borrowed.
The Manassas Campus Library has two computers running Windows 10 with assistive software installed.
One computer has the following assistive software installed:
ZoomText screen magnification software
The other station has the following assistive software installed:
JAWS screen reading software
Persons who need to use any of this software have priority at either computer.
The Manassas Campus Library has graphing calculators for loan.
The following calculator models are available, although library staff cannot guarantee that any particular model will be available at any given time:
TI-84 Plus
TI-84 Plus CE
The following policies apply to graphing calculators:
Students must present a valid NOVACard in order to borrow a calculator.
The loan period for calculators is three days.
Calculators must be returned in person to the Manassas Campus Library by the close of business on the day that they are due.
The Manassas Campus Library has two iMacs, which are available for use on a first come, first served basis.
The Library also has over 30 desktop computers running Windows 10, which are available for use on a first come, first served basis.
The Manassas Campus Library has headphones for loan.
All pairs of headphones have a 3.5mm audio connector.
The following policies apply to all headphones:
Students must present a valid NOVA Card in order to borrow headphones.
Headphones are for in use in the library only.
Headphones may be used until the close of business on the day that they are borrowed.
