Terms of Service
In line with our mission to provide reliable and user-friendly access to the world of information, the Loudoun Campus Library lends portable projectors to registered NOVACard users. Our primary goal in lending technology is to support the academic success of our students. These devices may only be used in the library group study rooms (LC 302D and LC 302F). As these projectors represent a significant investment by the Library and IT, all users are expected to maintain proper supervision and care of the equipment. Users must abide by the College’s Computer Use Agreement which covers peripheral devices.
Secure the projector in the carrying case and include all additional items; power cable, AC adaptor, remote, and the universal 24-pin to VGA cable. Return the carrying case to the reference desk. If a library staff member is not available, return the carrying case to the circulation desk on the 2nd floor of the library.
NEVER leave a projector unattended.
*In the event of an emergency evacuation or building closure, leave the projector in the library group study room. Library staff can assist in clearing any related fines or blocks.
Replacement fees for lost, stolen or damaged projectors: $650.
Violation of these Terms of Service may result in loss of library privileges. Unpaid replacement fees (for damaged equipment) will result in a block to your library account.
