Equipment loans vary between 3 days and in library use (with a few exceptions). Lost or damaged items may incur a replacement charge. Students MUST have their NOVA ID card to borrow equipment. You can review our lending policies and our procedures for lost, missing, or damaged equipment prior to checking out library equipment.
Desktop Computers:
The following computer stations are available for student use. These stations come with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), and a media player (VLC).

Assistive Technology:
We have two Dell assistive technology stations with the following software:
The assistive technology stations are at the end of each row of iMacs.
We have an Intel Reader which converts print text to digital text and can read the text out loud.
We have a Digital Book Magnifier which enlarges print materials.
Personal Devices:
You are welcome to bring your personal laptop or mobile device and use one of our open worktables located to the left of the instructional room.
A myNOVA username, NOVACard, or guest card can be used for printing & copying.

You can add money to your NOVACard by following the instructions listed on the AcePrint management page. For more information about copy/print costs and locations, visit the AcePrint homepage.
2 cell phone charging stations (compatible with iPhones and Androids)are available near the library entrance and study rooms.
Remember to take your device with you when you leave.

* As of 25 August 2023, NOVA is discontinuing support of Adobe Creative Suite for most of the NOVA community. NOVA Libraries is as yet unsure how this will effect our Digital Media Studio.
